Interprofessional teams are instrumental to improving outcomes. Nursing leaders support and promote interprofessional teamwork. In this assignment, you will create a plan to successfully lead an interprofessional team to resolve identified issues.

Create a 12- to 15-slide presentation, with detailed speaker notes, explaining how you could effectively lead a team in your future role.

In your presentation:

Identify a leadership theory that will guide your work. Explain how the selected leadership theory will guide your work.

Address how you will foster teamwork among multidisciplinary team members.

Identify at least 3 issues that could potentially arise.

Explain what leadership theories, principles, and/or skills you would use to address those issues.

Identify strategies that would most likely encourage collaboration, communication, and positive changes.

Discuss how you would engage in professional development.

Discuss how you would promote professional development to your team members.

Explain how you would effectively lead a team in your future role.

Include a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed scholarly references from the University Library.
