Deliverable Requirements: Prepare a PowerPoint presentation for this meeting. Your PowerPoint must contain at least 15 slides (excluding the title slide and agenda) and make sure to cite your references using APA format.

Reference slide: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final slide of your presentation. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hanging indent, italics, and uppercase and lowercase usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference slide is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation.

ARRA: This was signed into law by President Obama. The provisions of the law enabled law makers to set aside billions of dollars for the expansion of HIT. This was channeled through Medicare and Medicaid, providing incentives to providers for the adoption of electronic health records (EHR). Students should able to research and discuss the law in this perspective.
HITECH Act: This seeks to improve American health care delivery and patient care through investment in HIT. Provisions in this Act are designed to work together to provide assistance and technical support to providers, enable coordination and alignment within and among states, establish connectivity to public in case of emergencies, and ensure that the workforce is properly trained to be meaningful users for the EHR (comply with the concept of meaningful use)
HIPAA: This was signed into law by President Clinton and it concerns itself with the following:
