You must use APA format (this means cover page, abstract, etc.; see Purdue OWL website if more info needed), include use at least 7 scholarly sources, and paper should be 5 pages (double spaced, size 12 font; page count does NOT include cover page or works cited) at a minimum.  Papers are due NO LATER than Friday, 12p.m.

While researching your chosen social problem,  focus your attention on the history of attempts made to address the social problem.   After completing your research, submit a paper describing at least three solutions utilized in the past to address the social problem.  The paper will include a critical evaluation of each of the three solutions and an opinion on which solution provides the best outcome.

You will evaluate the information you’ve gathered and come to a conclusion on how best to address the social problem, and your paper should reflect your understanding of the social problem and express your support for a specific solution based on a new understanding of the historical context of the various solutions utilized throughout history to address social problems.
