Present your views and experience on performance appraisal; particularly, a critique of performance appraisal in your organization. Note that this is a critical examination and address the following questions:
· Purpose, motivation, and assumptions behind current practices.
· How do you include Ackoff’s “our view of the world” in this discussion?
· What Scholtes, Deming and McGregor present as problems with current practices.
· Scholtes discuss a system’s approach and understanding variation in presenting the fallacy of performance appraisal, discuss.
· The relationship between pay and performance.
· Share your experiences, what do you suggest.
