Nursing theory is the foundation for nursing practice. Nursing theory helps nurses make decisions and explain the reasons behind decisions. Nurse researchers, educators, and leaders use nursing theory to guide their actions. This assignment is an opportunity to construct new knowledge about nursing theory and explore how nursing theory may be used in your future practice role.
