Making sound ethical decisions requires an awareness of ethical dilemmas and the ability to properly analyze the dilemmas. Thus far in the course, you have read about ethical dilemmas germane to organizations and the practice of I/O psychology, which has likely contributed to your general awareness of ethical dilemmas. Now, you will explore various ethical decision-making models (also called frameworks) that are useful for analyzing ethical dilemmas.

For this Assignment, you will create a narrated PowerPoint presentation (PPT) about ethical decision-making models for new I/O psychology practitioners who have a limited understanding of how to address ethical dilemmas in the field. The purpose of this assignment is to help you become knowledgeable about how to use different ethical decision-making models and to help you develop virtual presentation skills, which you will need when working in or consulting with organizations as an I/O psychology practitioner.

To prepare for this Assignment:

• Read page 164 in Chapter 8 of the APA Handbook of Ethics in Psychology, Chapter 2 and Appendices A and B in the text, Business Ethics: An Ethical Decision-Making Approach, and the article, “Making Choices: A Framework for Making Ethical Decisions.” Examine the ethical decision-making models described in these resources and consider how each can be applied to an ethical dilemma.
• View this week’s media. Think about how each step of the ethical decision-making model can be used to resolve the ethical dilemmas and legal issues that may arise when practicing I/O psychology.
• Select four ethical decision-making models to focus on for the Assignment. Focus on the similarities across the four models.
• Read the Week 3 Assignment Case Study located in the Learning Resources. Using one of the ethical decision-making models, consider the steps an I/O psychology practitioner could take to resolve the dilemma in the case study.

By Day 7
