Using the basic instructional design principles for e-learning from your readings, you will critique an online class. For this assignment, use Roblyers (2014) rubric from your textbook (see Figure 8.5) to evaluate the following:
Select an online class and consider it for basic instructional design principles and effective online instruction. It can be a course of your own, a colleagues, or even an NCU class.
Does the class follow the principles noted in your text? Does it foster student engagement and collaboration? Does it allow for student agency and opportunities self-directed learning? If not, offer specific recommendations on how that can be accomplished.
Select five features from your readings that you think are of vital importance to an e-learning course, and then thoroughly explain your rationale for your selection.
Length: Scored rubric with at least three specific recommendations for improvement and five essential features for a quality online course.
