Your reflection will draw on the specific ideas contained within your prescribed reading as well as the numerous links to critical components that might be relevant to an organization that you know, or an organization that you could investigate on the Internet.

• Identify an organization that you can use in this course to illustrate specific examples rather than needing to rely on vague content or generalizations.
  • The organization should not be too complex, but it should rely on quality software for its value creation and efficient functioning within its industry and market. It should be an organization that is large enough to have a web presence that provides some insight about its operations.
  • Should your selected organizations identity need to be protected, use a similar organization, or substitute the name.
• Provide the background in one paragraph that should not exceed half a page. Cite the homepage of this organization on the Internet, unless it needs to be protected.

For the rest of the assignment, provide a reflection and include content relevant to secure software:

• Cite specific examples of the secure software you would recommend for the organization. Be sure to analyze and compare their relevance to the organization.
• Indicate if you believe your ideas will be understood and followed.
• Determine if you would be able to justify the resources if you were the chair of the board, especially if incorporating the software would require diverting investments from growth or employee benefits.
• Indicate what, if anything, you would do. Be as specific as possible.
• Explain how the organization would have a net benefit from following the ideas that you have learned this week.

Length: 4-5 pages excluding the title page and reference pages.

References: Include a minimum of 5 sources drawn from a combination of scholarly or leading security industry sources. All references should have been published in the last 5 years. You may add additional quality references.
