multiple discussions
Discussion 1 - Students are required to answer ALL of the questions below and make at least a minimum of 2 replies to other students’ posts in order to have the opportunity to earn full credit (55 points) on a given discussion. NOTE:Responding to all questions and making the minimum of 2 replies to others’ posts does not automatically mean, or guarantee, a student will receive 55 points. The key here is the quality of the responses to the questions and the reply posts. Length of responses should be at least a full paragraph; in other words, make sure to develop your thoughts and responses as fully as you can. I do expect students to use the readings, so please cite to the author: Terry, 2013, p. 10 (for example). Be sure to use definitions and examples to explain any and all concepts you are discussing (e.g., militarization of the police). Responses to reply posts should be a minimum of 3 sentences, at the very least. Simply stating "I agree with what you wrote" does not constitute a reply response. It is fine to start a reply post with that, but then tell the readers WHY you agree. If you have questions or concerns, please ask!
PLEASE POST YOUR QUESTION RESPONSES AND REPLY POSTS IN THE TEXT BOX. I ALSO RECOMMEND THAT YOU TYPE YOUR RESPONSES IN A PDF or MS WORD DOCUMENT IN CASE THERE ARE ISSUES WITH SACCT OR THE INTERNET CONNECTION. YOU MAY ATTACH THE DOCUMENT BUT YOU MUST HAVE THE ANSWERS IN THE TEXT BOX AS WELL. THANK YOU.
