Author Interview and Reflection on Children’s Literature

Throughout this course, we have discussed many different books, and hopefully, you have found lots of new favorites! Last week, we focused on some of the authors and illustrators that bring stories to life. As a follow-up, for this weeks’ discussion, please listen to this interview with children’s author Laura Albee as she shares her experiences with writing and having books published. Some of you may know Professor Albee, as she is one of our Post University faculty. Likewise, some of you might recognize the interviewer, Casey Lumb, since she teaches several CHS courses. Casey did this live interview during the fall semester for her campus students taking this same CHS203 course! After you listen to the interview, please share two takeaway messages from the interview.
