This assignment may take various forms, e.g. powerpoint  presentation, movie, creative writing. You should consider a number of  themes/ images that occur in the readings and/or films, creatively express your claims about that theme or image. For example, you might  consider the image of heroic super women and how this compares to the same male image in a similar context. What does the image for example, tell us about societal expectations for women’s behaviors or if you choose a theme how is the theme reflected in the work-this can be a visual text or a literary text. What is its place in the “world” that the text constructs and why? Choose one and develop your project based on a specific claim you offer. A well developed plan is essential in creating a strong project.  I suggest that you create a list of questions based on your theme that you might work through and also think about the need for an introduction and  conclusion – yes you can do this creatively. If you choose to construct a powerpoint presentation, please include a one page detailed explanation of what you hoped to achieve in the work. Be sure to keep in mind it is important to proofread your project before submitting it.
