Per noted provided REF by Dr. Burglass, Ms. Greenwood was in the room with her daughter Amariona after giving birth to a newborn child on 8/1/21. Amariona was found by Mrs. Greenwood and Dr. Buglass in the bathroom touching and sticking her fingers inside her vagina.
Ms. Greenwood asked Amariona where she learned about those behaviors or if anyone had ever touched her like the way she was touching herself? Amariona told her mother that a 14 year old male cousin, name unknown, whom lives in the home had been touching her that way. Amariona did not provide a timeline to Dr. Burglas or Ms. Greenwood as to when she was last touched by her cousin or when her cousin began touching her.
Mother had her Amariona stay at the hospital with her to avoid any contact with 14 year old upon Amariona making disclosure of being touched inappropriately by her cousin.
REF reported that is unknown what measures the family is taking to remove the Amariona’s cousin from the home and there is no current safety plan in place. Additional concerns as Amariona has (2) other siblings whom reside in the home which the cousin may have immediate access to.
