For this 2-3 page double-spaced essay, you will evaluate the paper you feel is your best work
this semester, as well as the paper you feel still needs the most improvement. You will also
reflect on your growth as a writer. Be sure to:

that your entire essay should support this thesis statement.
Include a paragraph about the essay from this semester that you feel is your best work. Be
specific about how this essay exhibits your growth as a writer this semester. How have you
considered audience and purpose in this essay? What challenges did you have, and how did
you overcome those challenges? In what ways does this final product reflect a change in your
writing as compared to previous writings?
Include a paragraph about the essay from this semester that you feel still needs the most
improvement. Consider both product and process: how did you write the essay and what is the
final product that came out of this process? What do you understand about the writing process
or rhetorical choices now that you didnt fully understand earlier in the semester? What specific
changes could you make to this particular essay to improve it?
In your final paragraph, reflect on your writing progress in general. How has your thinking
about writing changed? How has it remained the same? What specific changes have you made
to your writing? What are you most proud of accomplishing in this course? How might your work
this semester benefit your future goals?
