Step One: For this assignment, you will observe the videos below, takenotes, and record in detail six (6) total instances when you observed theteachers or caregivers in each setting as they provide the Three Rs ofQuality of Care: respectful care, responsive care, and reciprocal care.

Step Two: After observing and documenting your observations, you’llwrite a report describing each instance of care you witnessed, alongwith your assessment of whether or not the caregivers you observedprovided respectful, responsive, and reciprocal care to the children intheir charge. There’s no specified word count or page count for thisassignment. Use fully-developed sentences, and include 5 7 sentences per fully developed paragraph.
Paragraph One: Begin with an introductory paragraph thatintroduces the reader to the setting in the infants classroomand previews what the reader will be learning in your report.For example, where do your observations take place? Howmany infants are present? What are their ages? How manyteachers, teachers assistants, or caregivers are present?What work experiences, degrees, and credentials do theinfants teachers and caregivers possess?
Paragraph Two: Describe in detail an instance when youobserved the infants teacher providing respectful care.Provide objective (fact-based) observations. What didrespectful care look like? How did you recognize the carebeing provided was, in fact, respectful care? What was theenvironment or event, situation or challenge the teacherencountered in that moment? What did the teacher do? Whatdid the teacher say? What were the teachers facialexpressions, body language, and tone of voice? How did theinfant or infants react and respond to the teacher when theywere provided with respectful care? Use descriptive detailsand be specific in sharing your observations within your repor

What will you doif/when you encounter a similar event in your infantsclassroom?

Paragraph Eight: Summarize your observations, and sharewhat youve learned in your time, observations, andassessments in the infants classroom. Share severalsuggestions for improvement. What are your views ofrespectful, responsive, and reciprocal care in infants care? Inyour own practice, how will you know when to provide eachtype of care?
Paragraphs NineSixteen: Following the steps outlined above,next share your detailed observations and assessments of thethree types of care provided in the toddlers setting.
