Your Capstone Paper (and Presentation) can address a topic explored in previous courses.You are encouraged to expand further on your previous areas of interest by developing theideas further and integrating additional content you have encountered throughout yourtime in the program. Your project can develop further out of ideas you have explored inother courses. However, it must reflect new material, and the written components of theCapstone Paper must be uniquely created to fulfill the requirements for this class.Every Capstone Paper must include a written paper that includes the following mainsections:1. Literature Review: What about this topic? Literature review; speaking specificallyfrom the research (approximately 4-6 pages)5. Discussion: How does this information apply? Discussion with how to makesense of the topic, how it applies to counseling, how counseling professionals canuse the information, what you feel the information suggests, consideration ofsociocultural, multicultural, and ethical issues. (approximately 4-6 pages)6. Conclusion: Where now? Summary and wrap up (approximately 1-2 pages)7. References: Who? References*Sections in PURPLE represent Level 1 headings (although remember theIntroduction section is not officially listed)Grading: The Capstone Paper may be NO MORE than 25 pages. The text portion of thepaper (not including title page, abstract, or references) should include 12-15 pages of directpaper content. Any pages of text (not including the abstract, references, etc.), should notexceed 15 pages, so any pages beyond that amount will result in reduced points.
