Appeal letter

My children got sick the night before an important final and were in the ER causing me to miss the final.  I then had to take the final 3 days after but my mind was on my kids and they needed my constant attention so I wasn’t able to properly prep. I took the exam and my grade fell below the passing threshold by 5 points. I think took the comprehensive the very next day which i failed by 2 points. Now I’ve been terminated from the program. I would like to rejoin my cohort after this two week break. I’m willing to do any amount of work during the next two weeks to demonstrate my understanding and knowledge of the material covered throughout the course. I’ve done well on all prior exams.
