The assignment is to write a short paper that synthesizes and critiques the integration of mobile or other classroom technologies in the classroom.
This assignment is designed to provide you with a deep understanding of integrating technology across the curriculum. The paper should be written according to APA Style Guide specifications. APA papers include four main parts: Title Page, Abstract, Body, and Works Cited. The body of the paper should be divided into sections, with sub-headings created to delineate various themes or patterns that is outlined below and others that emerge in the literature review. Make sure to relate themes to one another and to show trends in the literature and patterns in methods of research or conclusions drawn from that research.
Structure
Select a mobile or classroom technology that you are interested in such as – iPads/Tablets, iPhone, Whiteboard, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Whiteboards, Google Glass, E-Readers, etc.
The paper should be 5-7 pages long (not counted title or reference pages, 12-point font type face, double spaced, 1" margins) and should synthesize the ideas in at least 6 -10 scholarly sources.

1. ABSTRACT: Provide an overview/summary of paper.
2. INTRODUCTION: Present a general overview of current technologies used in classrooms today. Provide a
rationale why you chose your specific classroom technology.
3. INTEGRATION: 1. Discuss how your selected technology can be specifically integrated in teaching a content area (e.g., history, science, math, special education, elementary subjects, english, fine arts, etc.). 2. Give specific integration examples and the impact on student learning.
4. ADVANTAGES, LIMITATIONS, and COST FACTORS: Discuss advantages, limitations and cost factors associated with your selected classroom technology. If needed use graphics, lab designs, etc.
5. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Discuss means of how you will keep yourself up to date with current and emerging technology.
7. SUMMARY: Include a summary of your findings. 8. REFERENCES: – List 7-10 References in APA format Paper due date – Tuesday 8/10
