1. Discuss 3 issues that were covered in the readings asthey pertain to global feminisms. For example, several issues I findinteresting is women and Islam/ women and religion and femicide in theAmericas. MAKE ONE OF YOUR ISSUES VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN INDIA AS YOU SAW ININDIA’S DAUGHTER. So then, pick 2 additional issues and discuss:

A. where does the issue originate? B. what exactly isoccurring and where? C. What is the counter argument? In other words, what isthe line of thinking of those who oppose feminism or are oppressing women?D.Solvency: what can be done to solve the problem?  What would you recommend to solve the problembased on what you have read?

3. For EACH issue, cite 2 course readings/media sources.Cite them IN TEXT and on a works cited page in APA style. For example, your intext citations will look like this (Kristof and WuDunn, 2009). These are theauthors last names and publication year for Half the Sky. I will deduct major points for not fulfilling thisrequirement. So for each issue, you must have a minimum of TWO sources. Includethem at the end of essay one.

4. Check your grammar and spelling! Required; Double spaced,12 pt font, 1 inch margins, 1.5 page minimum. Also, think twice before youplagiarize from outside sources. When you submit on BB, a special tool willtell me what percentage of your paper is plagiarized.
