Instructions:

Your HIM department isgoing to begin accepting student interns this spring. The HIM Director hasasked you to create an educational presentation on privacy, security, andconfidentiality for the students to complete before they start their PPE. Thepresentation must include a narrated Power Point presentationfor the students to listen to and a 10 question quiz for the students to takeafter listening to the presentation.

Steps:

1.    Createa narrated PowerPoint presentation that covers the elements listedbelow.

2.    Createa 10 question quiz AND answer key, covering the topics in the presentation.

PowerPointPresentation Elements to Include:

1.    Differentiatebetween privacy, security, and confidentiality

2.    Accessbased on minimum necessary standard

3.    Releaseof information that requires authorization

4.    Use andprotection of passwords and security codes

5.    Duty toreport breaches

6.    Oneadditional element of your choice

PowerPointParameters:

        Between 12 and 15 slides (including a title/introductory slide,content slides, wrap up or closing side and a reference slide.

        Reference slide should include at least three (3) sources ofinformation

        The notes section should include a script of what you sayverbally in your presentation (you might want to print this to use when yourecord the presentation)

        Slide design should be professional in appearance with effectivebalance. (not to cluttered, good color choices, appropriate borders, pictures,art, ect. that do not distract from the message)

QuizParameters:

        Must be 10 questions in length

        Questions should cover only the topics in the presentation

        Questions can be multiple choice, T/F, fill in the blank, orshort answer

        Answer Key must be provided
