The review should include the following components:
1) A basic description of the plot, but no more than one paragraph.
2) A thesis statement or persuasive claim about the social relevance of one of the encoded messages in the film. This claim should address how the film deals with one of the following social issues: representation of gender, race, disability, or LGBTQ+ identity, representation of religion, mental health awareness, social class, corporate responsibility, climate change/environmentalism, nationalism, war, or another related issue. The thesis statement should appear at the end of the first paragraph.
3) An analysis of one or two scenes (or technical elements like editing, cinematography, etc., in those scenes) that you believe are important to the encoded message of the film. Make sure to connect your examples to your thesis statement as clearly as possible.
