We wanted to have a little discussion here about Dragnet Nation. There may be other agents working alongside you on this mission, and it’s important that we combine our resources.

For this discussion, please describe two activities Angwin undertakes in the book to try to avoid surveillance that you are most interested in or intrigued by or want to know more about.

For each of the activities (whether it is using a website or specific software or a specific behavior she adopts in her life), write one paragraph that describes the activity and explains why you are interested in it. You can quote from the book as you describe and explain, just be sure to include correct use of quotation marks and page numbers (remember Working With Quotes (The Stolen Quiz) ). Each paragraph should be at least 150 words. As always, clarity in sentences is important, so mind your spelling, punctuation, word order, and all those things that make information easier to understand.
