Topic Descriptions: Safe Food and Medicines: We expect the foods we eat and medicines we take not to be harmful. This expectation has not always been reasonable. There are several government agencies in place which help to make sure our foods and medicines are safe to consume. In the case of medicines, there is often a risk that has to be balanced against the potential benefit of the medicine.
Ideally, you should be able to clearly describe interventions that are either in-place or proposed that relate to most of the levels in the social-ecological model.
You should include a bibliography/works cited page that tells me which sources you used (textbook, a government website, etc). Provide enough information to do that.
