Assignment: Write an academic film review over a selected film.
Prompt: Develop a definition based on your research of what makes a good representation of Film Noir or Hitchcock Film. Then, take a position about whether that film is a good example of a Film Noir film or a good example of a Hitchcock film based on the definition that presented.

For this assignment, you will choose one of the following films. In order to make an educated decision, I would first look to see which film that I have access to. Then, I would consider the learning that I did based on the reading that I completed from the assigned reading. The last thing I would do is go to the American Film Institutes (AFIs) Top 100 Films of All Time and consider which of these appear there this will show you what is culturally important.
