What is the difference between Virtue Ethics and Utilitarian definitions of the good? Which theory and conception of the good leads to the more ethical outcome, given the following situation (you must say what you think each outcome would be as well):

A student must decide whether or not to cheat on a final exam. The student is not prepared and will otherwise fail. No one will find out that the student cheated and no one will receive a lower grade because of it.

Presentation/ Clarity:Thoughts and opinions are expressed in an organized manner. Discussion posts should reflectcollege-level writing skills, appropriate sentence structure, format, and grammar. Do not useabbreviations or acronyms used in texting. All postings must demonstrate appropriate languageand respect for others. Inappropriate language or disrespectful postings are not acceptable.
