I have observed in the past that many students struggle to answer the week 5 discussion forum question. Therefore, I have tried to explain it in detail below. 

The question asked that you identify your own example of improper sampling from your day-to-day life.

First, your example must be an example that was done using improper sampling (intentionally or unintentionally). Second, explain why the sampling method was improper. Third, name the improper sampling method used in the example you came up with. Fourth, explain what type of sampling method should have been used and why. Following these steps will help you to answer the question.
