Exercise is a physical activity that is planned structured and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning any part of the body used o improve health and maintain fitness.
Steroids are man- made version of chemicals known as hormones that are made naturally in the human body, Steroid are usually given for a brief time to quickly treat flare -ups of your condition (Sarafino, & Smith,2017).
Treatment with steroid may cause changes in mood, other risk factor while taking steroid tablets for a long-time can make you more likely to get infection. It can also affect diabetes, high blood pressure, or epilepsy. The use of steroids can also affect the eyes, such as by making glaucoma worse or causing cataracts, it can have a severe problem that cause thee eye to have chorioretinopathy. With steroids use it can cause another condition known as Cushing syndrome (Sarafino, & Smith,2017).
Not all exercise is beneficial, some can be hazards as well, the most common injury that can occur is the injury to bones and muscles from other kind of accidents and from overstraining the body (Sarafino, & Smith,2017). With the high impact exercise such as jogging, and tennis can also injure joints and lead to arthritis. Another danger associated with exercise throughout the lifespan is those who do not exercise regularly or are beginners from overtaxing their bodies and from unsafe exercise conditions such as having improper shoes, exercising in a n excessive heat, which could lead to have symptoms of dizziness, rapid, and weak pulse, and headache. With exercising the sudden cardiac death can occur that some individual may have existing cardiovascular problems that existed prior to the attack (NORTHCOTE, FLANNIGAN, &BALLANTYNE,1986).

Anabolic steroid abuse has been associated with a wide array of undesirable side effects ranging from some that are physically unattractive like acne and breast development in men, to others that are life-threatening, such as heart attacks and liver cancer. Most of these effects are reversible if the abuser stops taking the drugs, but some are permanent, such as the deeper voice in women. Steroid abuse disrupts normal hormone production in the body, thus causing unwanted changes. Steroid use has been associated with cardiovascular disease, including heart and brain attacks. Also, it has been associated with liver tumors and a rare condition called liver peliosis, in which blood-filled cysts form in the liver. Sometimes both tumors and cysts can burst causing internal bleeding. Many people tell themselves that they will only use steroids for a short period of time, but unfortunately, steroids can be addictive making it difficult to stop taking them. Moreover, in many cases once a consumer tries to stop taking them, they may have withdrawal symptoms, such as loss of appetite, tiredness, restlessness, insomnia, mood swings, and depression.
I firmly believe that one should think before taking anything. In addition to visiting and consulting your doctor or provider on the issue. Our body is our responsibility, and we need to take charge in taking care of it the best way possible. We cannot be so irresponsible and ignore something so dangerous, especially when there are serious health consequences involved.

Re: Topic 7 DQ 2
Exercise has many benefits to the physical well being of anyone as it can extend a person’s life even if they are overweight (Sarafino & Smith, 2017). Exercise can help by preventing diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and some forms of Cancer versus someone does not exercise regularly (Sarafino & Smith, 2017). Exercise does come with its hazards and one of the main hazards is the use of anabolic steroids while exercising. Anabolic steroids are male hormones that are used to build tissue and increase muscle size and strength (Sarafino & Smith, 2017). Use of steroids over an extended period of time cause health issues that breaks down the body. The health effects that come from extended use of steroid use are cholesterol problems by raising the LDL and lowering the HDL, liver and kidney tumors, heart attacks and strokes. Steroid use also has additional effects on women by causing an increase in the growth of facial hairs and lowering their voice leading to a permanent masculine look. Also, in men it causes balding and acne along with temporarily decreasing the firmness and size of the testicles. One of the greatest hazards is that most steroid users will share needles putting them and others at risk of contracting HIV (Sarafino & Smith, 2017).
