Your paper should be well written following proper grammar, spelling rules, and good sentence structure (no run on sentences). There should be footnotes. You can use any method you want to footnote your sources, that is, on the page, the reference is made or at the end of the paper. Any quotes and statements of fact which are not considered to be common knowledge must be supported by stating the source of that information (example: Jones et al., 1979). You should have at least 5 references. You should use at least one Internet site, one journal article, and one encyclopedia. One book is desirable, but not required. You should have a bibliography at the end of the paper (Resources) listing all the sources from which information was drawn in researching your paper as well as works cited. The complete citation for a source of information will be in proper bibliographical form. Consult with the librarian if you need to cite a website. The librarian can also help you with the citation of traditional sources like books, periodicals, encyclopedias, etc
The paper should be at least 5 pages of text in length. (The fifth page does not have to be complete.) There should be a cover page with the title of the paper and your name, course, section number, date, and my name. There should be a Table of Contents, consisting of an outline of your paper (the main sections of your paper).
Do not use a font size bigger than 12. Double-space your text. Your margins can be normal Word margins, that is, 1 inch on the top and bottom, 1.25 inches on the left and right margins.
