Three Legal Memorandums

Semester Project Instructions: In this project, you will be asked to review the factpatterns and apply the information learned in class to completethe assignment. I have included resources to help guide you inthe drafting of the assignment. You will be required to submit a3 legal memorandum which follows the IRAC method. In this method, you are expected to identify the ISSUE presentedto you, identify the RULE(s) that areapplicable, APPLY the rule(s) to the case and provideyour CONCLUSION. This is not a short-answer assignment, and itwill require careful analysis.
I will post a link to submit rough draftsand will accept them until ten days prior to the deadline to submit the finalpaper. As with any writing assignment, you will be required to submit the workthrough safe assign, and you will be required to submit your own work productand clearly cite any work not your own. This project represents a significantportion of your final grade, and you should plan on devoting substantial timeand effort.
The project consists of THREE individualmemorandums representingfact patterns based on the material covered in the course. You will be requiredto submit all three memorandums. In other words, you must complete theassignment in full and you do not have the option of picking any one of thefact patterns to submit. You must write 3 separate memorandums tocomplete the assignment.
The assignment countsfor 30% of your grade and it is essential that you devotesignificant time to researching your answers, properly drafting, andeffectively editing it. In other words, waiting until the day before thedeadline will not put you in the best place to get a good grade. Istrongly urge you to reach out to the Center for Academic Success (CAS) and thelibrary for help.
The intent of the project is to provideyou with a degree of experience in drafting work products that you can expectat the professional level.
