You will be presented with 5 essay questions. Select and answer 2. You have 80 minutes to complete this portion of the exam. Each question is worth 20 points. There is no specified length requirement, but you can aim for approximately 300-400 words per question. All else equal, the more concise your response, the better. Each question contains several parts. Make sure you read the questions carefully and address each part.
You will be graded based on:
- The thoroughness of your response. Did you answer each part of the question?
- How well you demonstrate familiarity with the relevant readings/videos from the course, and your ability to draw on them to support your responses.
- Your ability to construct argument.
- Grammar and punctuation. Flexibility will be afforded ELL students.
