Singapore: A Multicultural Phenomenon

So far, you have discussed cultural behaviors that exist in the general population and specifically in the culture and subculture of aviation. Youve even delved into how counter-cultural behaviors can emerge and disrupt the cultural norms of mainstreamed society or an organization.

This activity will be an examination of how to form culture and what leaders need to understand in order to foster equity of the cultural convergence, as did happen in Singapore. Singapore, an island city-state off southern Malaysia, is a global financial center with a tropical climate and multicultural population. Singapore is a phenomenon demonstrated by how the Singaporeans have learned to live in harmony as a multicultural system of partners who intentionally, purposefully, and openly celebrate their diverse heritages.
