• Key:  CAM 1 and Hot 1 = Pilot Monitoring, CAM 2 and Hot 2 = Pilot Flying, CAM 3 and HOT 3 = Pilot in Jumpseat

• Once you have watched the NTSB animation and followed along on the CVR transcript, now compare your understanding to what transpired to the Autoflight Considerations found in paragraph 6.9 of  AC-120-71B, and compose at least one comprehensive full page, or more if needed, of analysis and critical thought on which considerations are relevant.  Include reflection on the Autoflight Considerations that seemed missing for the pilots of Asiana Flight #214 during the approach into SFO. You will be issued credit for the assignment if you:  

  • Complete by the due date
  • Provide at least a full page
  • Succinctly and adequately discuss the comparison between Asiana Flight #214 approach events and the AC-120-71B Autoflight Considerations
