Use the concepts and techniques presented in Excel Chapter 2 and the Hands-on Simulation Training to purchase a car or condo/house.

Based on your actual budget, determine the monthly payment for a car or condo/house you plan to purchase in August 2021.

The Tasks:

1. Search the internet for a car or condo/house you plan to purchase in August 2021.
   
2. Determine the down payment based on the price quoted from the dealer or realtor.
   
3. Use your credit score to determine the interest rate that you qualify.
   
4. Based on your budget and anticipated income, if any, determine the length of time that you plan to pay off the car or condo/house.
5. Use the PMT function to determine the monthly payment and create an amortization table for the length of time to own the car or pay off the condo/house. 
6. Format the spreadsheet using Currency Number formatting with the dollar sign. Use any cell styles, alignment, font options, colors, and borders as you see fit.

EXCEL LAB #2–VIDEO

Using Screencast-o-Matic, prepare a video of no more than 1 minute of the finalized spreadsheet and your picture and voice explaining the way you completed the assignment. Make sure to include in your video presentation the purpose of the spreadsheet that you created and the formulas you used for the monthly payment and amortization. Indicate the particular feature(s) that you learned and used that you found most helpful in the project.
