Write an argumentation-persuasion essay that will persuade one to change his/her outlook on life, or about any topic that needs rectifying.

In 2-4 pages, double-spaced, 12 pt. standard font, write your argumentation-persuasion essay in such a way that your readers understand your specific stance, the opposing stance, and possibly a solution to the addressed problem.

Final Notes:

Try to incorporate some of the writing techniques discussed in the readings and lecture. For example, be sure to follow the 11 paragraph persuasion format. Also be wary of faulty generalizations and logical fallacies. And maintain 3rd person throughout the paper.

Possible Topics:
– Persuade someone to believe in a certain power’s (nature, art, etc.) ability to change one’s outlook.
– Persuade action to be taken on a designated crisis (environmental destruction, homelessness, etc.).
– Argue for or against any issue that invokes passion (war, love, violence, etc.).
– Offer an argument that proves something conventional can be seen differently (peace on earth is possible, etc.
