Initial posts are to be complete thoughts based on logic gleaned from the text or some other economic source.  Sources are to be cited; therefore, students need at least one good source in addition to their textbook for the initial post each week.  Students must offer a thoughtful initial post; therefore, the initial post must be between 250-500 words. You must respond to two other learner’s post by Sunday night at 11:59 p.m. 

After learning more about implied warranties and disclaimers, would you ever buy an item sold "as is"? Imagine a car salesman who offers you a car for $8,000, but who says that he can knock the price down to $6,500 if you will buy the car "as is." If you live in a state that does not give consumers special protections, which deal would be more appealing? Make sure you are supporting your argument with your textbook and one outside source cited in APA.
