Their “spokesperson” tell the administrator that they have been talking to front desk staff at “other practices” and feel that they as a group they are all underpaid. Unless they receive a salary adjustment, they will all immediately begin looking for new positions. The last performance evaluation review and wage adjustment for all employees of the practice was six months ago.
They would like your response by Monday morning. If they do not all receive an increase, they state they will follow up on their plans to immediately start looking for new positions. The practice administrator calls you, as the HR consultant, to provide advice as to how to address this situation.
