- Write an essay that responds to the following prompt:
- The Mississauga’s of the New Credit have only just settled their land claim in the last twenty years. Using these primary sources as evidence, and the secondary piece (Blomley 2003) as analytical framework, answer the following questions:
- What role does Canadian settler colonization continue to play in the geographies of urban Canada, Ontario, or other contemporary geographies?
- How have contemporary Canadian economic, urban, and social geographies influenced the pattern of settler colonization in Canada today?
