Example of a local area network design

A department store is approximately square, with each side measuring100 ft (35 meters). Each wall has two entrances spaced equally apart. There are two cash registers on each wall next to each entrance. Suggest a local area network solution that interconnects all eight cash registers. You may choose to write the solution (including all measurements in feet and explaining the locations of the switches/server/wiring) or you may choose to create a diagram showing the room, the cash registers, the wiring, the switches and the server. Don’t forget to indicate what type of wiring should be used. Title this case “Example of a local area network design.”
