Project.

Task 1. In the first paragraph each student will reiterate what their topic is in the first sentence and provide a rationale. You will also state what your independent variable (IV) will be and name at least 2 dependent variables (DVs) used to determine efficacy.
Its is important to identify your IV and groups (levels) you plan o use.

Task 2. Each student will determine whether they will use a research goal OR use a research question as the focus of the project.

Task 3. In the third paragraph, students will propose their hypothesis for the project.

-Physical Security Procedures
-Cyber Security Procedure
-Personnel Security Procedures
-Fire Life Safety Procedures
-Emergency Management Procedures


Literature Review Matrix (4 References based on topic):

Criminal:
-Describe the typical criminal by demographics.
-Common Motives for the Crime.
-Describes the crime and how its perpetrated (e.g., hacking into computer—Trojan; mass killing—bombing)
-Success level (effective?) +reasons + problems for society/company

Physical/Cyber/Personnel Security (or EM) Procedures:
-Typical best procedures + reason
-Worst procedures + reasons
-Incidents + problems due to faulty/inadequate procedures – explain reasons security failed
-What was learned from disasters + how it lets us design new/improved security procedures

[EM Projects must also have]
Coordination between Public and Private Sectors:
-Which Public Agencies involved?
-Tasks performed by each sector in breach/disaster?
-Current methods for coordination?
-Effectiveness of coordination + reason + impact on mitigation

Note to writer:
My first option was School (Physical Security) Procedure in light of all the School shootings like most recent Parkland, Florida and to cross that into an Analysis approach of Physical & Cyber Security Procedures. But I am open to anything since I am behind right now.
