Her in-office urine dip is positive for nitrites, WBCs greater than 20/hpf, and RBCs less than 5/hpf. Her only medication is Loestrin for birth control. She wants medication for the dysuria. She is a nonsmoker and allergic to sulfa drugs. What is your treatment plan for this patient?
