Review the “Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) – Critical Infrastructure” article located within the required readings, and explain ways that organizations can be attacked through unanticipated means. Good morning Professor and classmates,
Unmanned Aerial Systems are something that has become an even larger problem over the last couple of years, because of the affordability of drones these days and the varying sizes it is easier than ever for the average consumer to purchase one and get into trouble using it. I’d say the same sort of thing with the real powerful laser pointers and the people who shine them at airplanes, not as much of a cybersecurity issue though. But the fact remains the same, as the technology increases so are ways found to make these products cheaper for everyone to use.
There are some other fields that I believe you will see hackers start to use to get into networks. Such as using AI to attack a network faster and with more accuracy than could be otherwise utilized. The one important thought that I’ve learned over my coursework is that as technology comes out hackers both good and bad will find ways to utilize it for their own means. And it almost seems like if the device is sending out a signal then it can be hacked in some manner.
