How all people know ten things after they learn just one.
Hasty Generalization: As it represents by the words, “Hasty” and “Generalization”, this fallacy means generalizing some thoughts and ideas that people commonly do in their mind without a few prove is not appropriate.
Example: One of the old fashion Korean quotes, “See one, know ten” — generally speaking, it means when someone learns the new thing, he is wise enough to know ten from it → how all people know ten things after they learn just one. There are many and wide knowledge that need time and thought to figure out the concept. Thus, this sentence(quote) has a fallacy of Hasty Generalization.
Genetic Fallacy: Based on the characteristics of the subjects, expecting the effect without any proof, and making a decision that it is it.
Example: Kylie Jenner likes to collect designer-brand bags and clothes for herself, she never likes to spend her money for the charity. → We never know she likes to support communities or not. Cannot judge people by their appearance.
Circular Argument: This fallacy has the same conclusion and idea without specific proves and reasons why it is right.
Example: Donald Trump is a great businessman because he has succeeded in his business. → Trump is one of the well-known businessmen but this sentence doesn’t tell why he is a great businessman(just succeed of business doesn’t represent he is a great businessman) and what makes him a great businessman.

This phrase usually targets and degrades a type of person to try to avoid proving their point.
Example: You wouldn’t know anything of what it’s like to be a man because you’re a female.
This example claims that females couldn’t know a man’s struggle because they haven’t experienced it for themselves. It’s trying to degrade a woman and their experiences.
Straw Man
This phrase gives a point then refutes it in the same sentence. This doesn’t make it a very strong argument because they’re refuting themselves and assuming such explanations.
Example: Those that don’t agree with the concept of electric cars hate the earth.
This example jumps to conclusions on how the people that don’t want electric cars hate the earth. There could be many different reasons as to why people don’t want electric cars.
Circular Argument
This phrase is when people restate themselves in a claim. This doesn’t make the claim strong enough because they’re not giving any evidence or an explanation as to why the claim is strong because they’re only repeating themselves.
Example: Adele is a good singer because she has a nice voice.
This example circles back to their first phrase. I like to think of this as a “duh moment” because it wouldn’t make sense if an example was the total opposite of what is being said. Of course a good singer has to have a nice voice, because that is the characteristic of a good singer.
