Leadership coaching is becoming a trend for those who are looking to expand their leadership horizons. This discussion is designed to explore your thoughts on developing a coaching program in your own organization.
Tasks
Discuss how you would develop and implement a leadership coaching program in your organization. In doing so, be sure to address:
How you will incorporate the leadership coaching plan with the organization’s mission
How leaders will develop goals for specific situations
How your program will address at least one of the following:
To prepare for a position that requires substantively different leadership skills than you currently possess
To take a new position within your organization
To transition to a new organization
To improve your performance when someone has expressed concern about a deficit in your leadership skills that may be negatively affecting your performance
