Have you ever experienced marriage, divorce or remarriage, or have you known a close friend or relative who has?  What was your/their experience like?  How has that experience (or lack thereof) contributed to your own understanding of step family formation?

 I remarried and I have two oldest children from my first marriage and the other two with my husband. My own experience has not been easy but manageable.
