1. Estimating techniques. What are the common techniques for estimating time/effort and cost in traditional/waterfall projects, and when might you use one versus the other? What are some techniques for estimating time/effort in agile projects? (For example, see https://www.pmi.org/learning/library/agile-project-estimation-techniques-6110.) In your opinion, which of the two sets of techniques (traditional vs. agile) do you believe produces more realistic estimates, and why? If possible, discuss this topic in the context of any personal or professional projects that you were involved with, or could manage in the future.

How would use the concept of learning curves to estimate your human resource requirements? In your discussion, describe a project or process when you could have applied the concept of learning curves. How could applying the concept of learning curves improve the process or project?
