There is a range of interpersonal behaviors available to a supervisor who is working with individuals and groups of teachers. Some supervisory behaviors place more responsibility on the supervisor to make decisions, others place more responsibility on the teacher, and still others indicate a shared responsibility for decision making. Whichever approach is used, supervisors need to make sure that how they perceive themselves is consistent with how others perceive them.
