Students will be able to find information about the yardstick (examine problems with two or more solutions and establishing/applying criteria) in Ch. 9 p. 272-275.For this project, you will still be using the company you chose in WP2 as the context for this report. The basic assumption is that your boss (or someone above him or her) has asked you to create a report. Your task:Analyze the audience and purpose.Research information to create a well-developed yardstick report.Complete professional yardstick report with the appropriate back matter.Topics: Initial discussion boards are focusing on location since that applies to most businesses. You are not required to use location as the topic for this project. Think of problems, issues, etc. that your company might face, and use that to guide your topic. Possible topic options besides location could include:Small business resources during Covid-19 pandemic (state/federal)New equipment (for the research, don’t just go to the manufacturer’s website. Look at reviews, etc.)Professional development/training/certification optionsMarketing options (social media, radio, television, etc.)App developmentSoftware upgrades (new POS systems, telecommuting, etc.).
