This week, as we explored Scenic Design, you were asked to look at a few videos talking about scenic design (or in some cases, the production design for a film, which has a somewhat similar process to scenic design for the stage). Was there anything that you learned about scenic design this week that surprised you, intrigued you, or that was different than what you expected scenic design to be? Please share with the class two things that stood out for you out of the materials on scenic design. Why did the things you chose to discuss here make a strong impression on you? Be sure to include specifics to support your assertions.
