_ I need to edit my research proposal to ‘ management of Burn Care by emergency and critical nurses’ without wound in All proposal, so edit aim, sample, method.. etcand please follow these comments: we think you need to have a research question that can be justified using international literature and that you have the expertise and passion to commit to. You need an approach that enables you to develop new knowledge and to build theory about the topic. Think about the theoretical frameworks you are familiar with (EBP) and also consider clinical decision making.So firstly think about your topic and your research question. Do you have sufficient expertise in the area ? Is there an issue that requires research where you have both expertise and passion ?Then consider the wider literature. Look at existing systematic reviews in the area. These may be international and not just in Saudi or Australia. Consider existing national protocols or policy guidelines from either government health agencies or review bodies such as Joanna Briggs Institute or Cochrane. Both have reviews on managing burns.Once you have critically reviewed this literature you need to see where knowledge is lacking or the evidence is weak. Then you can justify why you need to conduct your own research in this area. It is not enough to say there is strong international evidence in this topic but not in my own country. You would have to make a strong case why the culture/setting was so different that it would not apply. WHO often have global guidance too.We did not talk much about methods and approaches but be clear whether your study is purely quantitative, purely qualitative or whether it is mixed methods. If mixed methods then discuss the framework for this approach.Your research needs to develop new knowledge and have a theoretical framework. You need to be able to theorise for a PhD. The scale of the project needs to be manageable by you as a PhD student within three years.
