Select a nutrient, food or health concern related to nutrition for your poster project. Your job now is to learn a lot about this topic, put it into context for your colleagues, and then teach them about it. On the presentation day, you will present to two or more small audiences.This assignment asks you to consider your nutrient/topic from many perspectives. You will integrate many of the skills you have been learning in this class to draw connections between the content and knowledge developed in this class with your learning and experiences elsewhere. I call this approach, “Content, Context & Connections.”An easy way to develop and display the information is to create a Power Point™ deck and print off and attach individual slides to an inexpensive, cardboard, 3-panel poster that stands, unsupported on the tabletop. Be sure you add headings, and that you choose a sequence/flow for the slides, before adhering them to the poster.
