For your final exam, you will write a Philosophy of Classroom Management paper. The paper must be 2-3 pages in length. (Word, 1-in margins, Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.) Here are some guidelines for writing your paper: Do not use the phrase ‘I believe’ or ‘I think.’ This is your philosophy – so of course it is what you believe or think. When you state an opinion, tell why you have that opinion or belief. It is beneficial to briefly illustrate how your beliefs will be carried out in your classroom. If you quote any resources, make sure you properly cite those resources. Failure to do so is plagiarism. Be specific. Do not be tempted to tell me what you think I want to hear – I really want you to write what you believe in. Make sure you proof your paper for clarity, flow, and grammar. Here are a list of things you might want to address in your paper. You do NOT need to address all of these, they are simply here to help promote thought.
